Decorating By Design - is a Virginia-owned and operated Small Women and Minority (SWAM) owned business that offers full-scale interior decorating services for residential customers.

The company was founded in 2004 by LaKitta Hicks-White, a native of Hampton, Virginia.  In addition to an extensive portfolio of successfully completed interior decorating and custom window treatment projects; LaKitta offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Hampton University, A Master of Science in Management from Troy University, attendance at Haver Hill Institute of Staging, and a graduate of The Staging Diva Business Training Program.
